Hanna Jahanforooz

Hanna is a singer, song writer and musician. Hanna was born in Tehran- Iran to a Jewish family and continue to live there four more years after the Islamic revolution, till she was 12 years old. Then her family decided to escape to Israel. Hanna and her family spent a month on the roads (through Pakistan) till they finally arrived to the “promised land”. As a child in Iran she sang for the iyatoolot (Islamic religion ministers) and in Israel Hanna keeps this burning desire of music. Throughout the years, she learned vocal tutoring based on opera, theater acting, movie acting and became a professional artist. Her art is influenced from Farsi (Persian) music, soul, opera, ethnic and world music. She is singing in Persian language, Hebrew, English and Spanish language. Hanna created her own unique and personal style, a combination of oriental Farsi music from the east and western influences. With her broad vocal range, Hanna performs both folk songs and improvisations, and her songs have proved capable of deeply moving audiences. Hanna cooperated with local and European musicians, who create world & ethnic music. Hennas main dream is let her voice to be heard over the seas, and to continue bringing joy and happiness to people from all over the world. ******************************************************************** حنا جهانفروز در تهران به دنيا آمد.هنگامی که حنا 12 ساله بود، خانواده او چهار سال پس از روی کارآمدن جمهوری اسلامی ایران ازتهران مهاجرت کردند. اصل و نسب خانواده اش ازیهودیان اصفهان است که به تهران مهاجرت کرده بودند. جنگ ایران و عراق درجریان بود و خانواده حنا جهانفروز مانند بسیاری دیگرازایرانیان که راه و چاره ای جز خروج غیرقانونی نداشتند، ازطریق مرز پاکستان میهن اجدادی خود را پشت سرگذاشتند. ازپاکستان به فرانسه رسیدند و ازآنجا به اسرائیل آمدند و بدین ترتیب به هزاران یهودی ایرانی زاده دیگری پیوستند که همانند ایرانیان بسیار دیگری درسالهای آغازین روی کارآمدن جمهوری اسلامی و دراوج جنگ ایران وعراق، خانه و کاشانه خود را ترک می کردند و درجستجوی زندگی درکشوری امن و آباد بودند. حنا درترانه هایش خود را رها می کند. ترانه هایش را عمدتا به فارسی می خواند؛ اما نه مانند آهنگهای معمولی. بلکه با حالتی اوپرائی و گاه بسیارعرفانی. او سبک خاص خود را یافته که بسیار ویژه است و کمتر کسی می تواند ازکنار آن به آسانی بگذرد. حنا جهانفروز که به فارسی ترانه اجرا می کند، طرفدارانی درایران امروز دارد و نیز ایرانیان مقیم کشورهای جهان نیز او را می شناسند».
