Soroush Payandeh Curriculum Vitae and Artist’s Statement
Born and raised in Isfahan, the second largest Metropolitan city of Iran, I have had excellent opportunities to experience my love of the visual arts from an early age, in a city with a long history and deep cultural roots in the arts, and at the cradle of Persian civilization. Now aged thirty four and with a comprehensive portfolio of works across own country, I am eager to explore opportunities to show my creations on the international stage.

Designed Award Winning plans for Relief Sculpture side panels for Dubai bridges for RTA (see photos)
Designed and created decorative stage backdrop for the ‘Congress of Islamic worlds’ in Isfahan at Shah Abass Hotel (see Photo)
Designed and created decorative exterior ceramic reliefs for Hall of Sepah Bank in Isfahan (see photo)
Built the statue of Zakaria Razi for Goldarou Pharmaceutical Factory (see photo)

Paramis Hotel, Kish Island: Designed and created Collection of Reliefs of Iranian historical figures and heritage, and Qajar Dynasty and ‘Shahname’ figures (see photos)
Homa Hotel, Tehran: Designed and created Ceramic relief of Hotel Logo
2004
Elya Building (aka Azar Building) – Designed and created exterior decorative composite painting (18m H x 4.5m W) covering entire front length of this six story building (see photo)
Arak Petrochemical Company (state owned): Designed and created Ceramic relief walls throughout central office building (see photo)
Ministry of Agriculture, Isfahan: Designed and created Ceramic and fiberglass facades (see photos)
2002
Founded “13 + 1” Studio in Isfahan: This is the studio from where I created my largest ceramic and composites reliefs
2001
Isfahan University of Technology: Designed and created installations of Sets and interior decor for a large exhibition in commemoration of Iranian national hero Amir Kabir
1999 – 2000
Designed and created decorative composite relief sculpture of birds (the famous ‘Haft Vadi-e-Erfan Relief) for ‘Satari’ (Sofeh) Bridge in Isfahan (see photo)
